ABSTRACT
This webinar brings together COMMECT’s five Living Labs and Brazilian colleagues from SENAI-RS/Embrapii, TEC4B and Embrapa. It follows COMMECT’s April 2025 visit to Rio Grande do Sul and provides a concise tour of ongoing pilots on both sides: connectivity options that mix terrestrial and satellite links, vineyard and orchard monitoring with drones and fixed sensors, micro-climate and disease alerts, remote expert support, and the role of decision-support tools. Speakers also discuss what slows adoption (costs, skills, coverage) and which business models are proving workable with growers and local operators. The recording and slides are available for researchers, policymakers, cooperatives and solution providers who want a practical view of digital agriculture in Europe and Brazil.
