The event focuses on sustainability and life cycle assessments in the food industry. Every year the conference attracts about 450 participants from all over the world.

| Conferences, Forum & FairsRead moreBård Tronvoll and Gabriel Linton from partner organization CREDS at INN attended "The Forest into the Future" in Kongsvinger, Norway. The conference was hosted by another COMMECT partner, Klosser Innovasjon and Lars Gillund.
The conference was focused on the future of forestry and how innovation can support the sector’s development. This aligns with the work being done at Living Lab Norway which focuses on connected forestry through digital tools to help manage forests sustainably.
COMMECT at VITIS LIVE 2024

Hosted at the Institute Viti Vinicole (IVV) tent, our partner Miriam Machwitz from LIST showed tractor-based cameras and drones, tools designed to enhance viticulture practices through precision agriculture.

COMMECT Executive Board meeting
| Projects MeetingsRead moreCOMMECT held an Executive Board meeting on April 15th - 17th, to monitor the progress of the project, and get prepared for the upcoming project review. The 3-days event was filled with insights, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
First results and potential innovation were discussed, with the aim of deploying impactful connectivity solutions, tailored to actual end-users' and stakeholders' needs.
Next steps in the project implementation were defined, with focus on the deployment of connectivity solutions in the Living Labs, assesment of their socio-economic and environmental impact, definition and adoption of collaborative #business models.
