Executive Board Meeting: Work-Package Leaders meet in Copenhagen
The COMMECT work-package leaders gathered in Copenhagen for an intensive two-day workshop hosted by Aarhus University and the Danish Living Lab team. With plenty of coffee, good food and intense whiteboard sessions, we reviewed the outcomes of the last six months. Discussion about field-tests across all five Living Labs and the Decision Support Tool (being named a top EU Innovation Radar pick!). Mapped out the sprint to project close. Highlights included a guest talk on digital livestock transport.
COMMECT work-package leaders arrived in Copenhagen for two days of strategic planning. Hosted by Aarhus University’s transport and logistics team and chaired by Michael Nørremark, the workshop focuseed on reviewing the work packages and roadmap setting.
We kicked off with updates from each of the five Living Labs. From vineyard-automation trials in Luxembourg to drone-powered forestry monitoring in Norway, every site reported successful final field-tests of our multi-connectivity solutions. We discussed the Decision Support Tool—recently lauded by the EU Innovation Radar—received feedback on its new dashboard features.
Søren Büchmann Petersen from the Danish Transport and Logistics Living Lab delivered a guest lecture on digitalising livestock transport. He illustrated how IoT sensors and edge-analytics can be helpful for the farmers and the logistics operators.
The Copenhagen workshop set a clear and collaborative course for COMMECT’s final sprint.
