Final COMMECT Stakeholder Event – 10 July 2025
COMMECT is pleased to announce its Final Stakeholder Event, which will take place on 10 July 2025 at the Olive Research Institute in Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye (Üniversite Caddesi No. 43). This concluding gathering offers an opportunity for project partners, regional farmers, service providers and other sector stakeholders to come together for a day of demonstrations, discussions and hands-on workshops.
COMMECT is delighted to invite project partners, farmers, service providers and other rural development stakeholders to its Final Stakeholder Event on 10 July 2025 at the Olive Research Institute (Üniversite Caddesi No. 43, Bornova – İzmir, Türkiye).
Hosts and Organisers
This concluding event is hosted by the COMMECT Turkish Living Lab—situated in the olive-tree fields of the Olive Research Institute—and co-organised by the Serbian Living Lab.
What to Expect
Participants will join guided field visits to explore live demonstrations of:
- IoT monitoring systems for microclimate and resource tracking
- Digital insect-trap technologies for early pest detection
- Shared power infrastructure solutions for off-grid operations
- The COMMECT community platform for collaborative data sharing
Results from the project’s impact assessment will be presented, followed by discussions with farmers, extension services, equipment suppliers and other sector actors on lessons learned and pathways to wider adoption.
Decision-Making Support Tool (DST) Workshop
In a dedicated session, attendees can test the Decision-Making Support Tool (DST)—a chat-based, LLM-powered advisor that guides users through selecting optimal digital technology configurations aligned with regional needs and EU socio-economic and environmental goals. DST collects relevant inputs via a conversation-driven interface before delivering tailored recommendations horizoneurope-commect.eu.
